HIVE Domains is a wholly owned and operated Australian company acting as agents for the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), .au Domain Administration Ltd (auDA) for Australia, the registry for .uk internet names Nominet UK, and the The Domain Name Commissioner (DNC) for New Zealand.
Hive-internet aims to push the limits of all products we offer, whilst remaining a value alternative.
Our current goal for domain names is to provide an intuitive domain interface, that is the best on the market. Our domain management system, will allow you to keep all your domains organised and updated in one place. It is currently under development and in the early part of 2007 we expect to be launching it alongside a retail domain name presence!
We will strive to beat the competition in both pricing & service.

We act as agents to accredited registrars for a number of organisations that regulate the domain name system. To find out more about Domain Names and their administering bodies, follow one of the links below:
ICANN, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers is responsible for managing and coordinating the Domain Name System (DNS) to ensure that every address is unique and that all users of the Internet can find all valid addresses. The .US top-level domain (usTLD) was established in 1985 as the official country code top-level domain (ccTLD) for the United States. It is administered by
NeuStar. The expanded second-level .US domain launched on April 24, 2002, enabling companies, nonprofits, government entities and individuals to establish unique, memorable American addresses online. The existing .US structure is a locality-based hierarchy modeled on the geography of the United States. Most usTLD branches in the locality space are overseen by delegated managers (also known as "delegees" or "locality delegees"). This existing hierarchical design provides structure, name uniqueness and a geographic reference point for registrants. NeuStar maintains and enhances this locality-based structuure even as it administers the expanded second-level
.US domain.

The
Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) is a not for profit Canadian corporation that is responsible for operating the dot-ca Internet country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) as a key public resource for all Canadians in an innovative, open, and efficient manner. CIRA may carry out other Internet related registration activities for the Canadian community in a similar manner.
